Are people working on levels?
« on: March 15, 2010, 18:08:21 »
Read topic. Also, will there be a nice little archive for Saira levels like there is for KS? I would suggest someone OTHER than LPChip work on that though, since life's been making him drag his feet on the KS archive update for years.

I just want to play new levels. Also, Nifflas, do you plan on making another episode? You called yours Episode 0, implying you have a story or two to tell, yet.

I guess I am  8D

Im making a level in which Saira gets sucked into a gameboy

It will be very similar to the movie: Inception with different "Levels".
Each level has graphics like a specific console..
You eventually wake up in the "reality", but what us gamer think is the "dream".

Yes, that is all.

See my sig for details!

I can't say if mine will be nearly as cool, but I too am working on a Saira 'level'. I intend for it to be somewhat long, but you never know.

Im planning to do two levels once im good with the level editing and starmap editing.

The Evil Lair
Spoiler: Prologue (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Bad Ending (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Good Ending (click to show/hide)

Includes:
8 Galaxies to explore at the beginning of the game, 3 Bonus galaxies once you beat the game (There is a code in
the final cutscene). 1 accessed if you get the Bad ending, all accessed if you get the Good Ending.
The puzzles will probably be remakes of nifflas's original puzzles but the puzzle difficulty is a bit harder so i recommend you play the original game before playing this when i am done.

Unknown name
Im not really fond of a storyline yet but im thinking of a starmap like this
There are six worlds, Each one has a code within the star system which is
required to get to the next world. Each battery charger is at the entrance incase
you run out of battery power. This is a basic idea though.

Might not be as good as smeagles level where Saira get sucked into gameboy but it will do.

So, ok, forgive me if this is off topic, but I haven't figured out the whole Saira level thing.  Do you purchase the whole version before you can access any level making stuff?

I love the visuals of Saira, but I really don't like the movement mechanics and the plots, so I don't think I'll be making anything for it.

Actually, i think that the demo only stops you of testing your level. But you can blindly make a level with the editor.
