Getting HIGHER!
« on: January 15, 2010, 22:27:00 »
I've made a new game (oh.. another nightmare released) that is similar to capture the orb. This is about a miner in a quarry and he discovers a hole. He descends down, and is hit by challenges. Here's what I mean:

p1: The Miner is lowering and there are several scorpions on the wall.

p2: The Miner bites off the tails and keeps going down.
The Miner can't find any more handholds to grab onto.

So.. At the of the post, you solve the problem, at the end, you make another. I'll start.

The Miner goes down in a hole, and he sees there are bats flying everywhere.

Next person solve, and post another problem.

From now on, people show travel higher, out of the hole!

The miner scares the bats off with his flashlight.
The batteries in the flashlight wear off.

By the way, why can't he just use a parachute? :P2

The Miner pulls some spare batteries out of his pocket, and fumbles around a little before finally getting it in, then continues downwards.
As the Miner goes deeper, the light from the surface fades and it gets pitch black, aside from the faint light of his flashlight. He is likely to be eaten by a grue.

LololJonReference.

A grue dashes from a crach, but he jams the flashlight into the Grue's nose.
He has no flashlight.

Also, the Miner's name is Ag-e

The hyphen don't be silent.

Lolwat?

Anyway, the Miner, who's name is apparently Ag-e, and who's awesmoe enough to have "Miner" capitalized, fashions a flashlight from rocks, crystals, and the regurgitated remains of scorpion tails.

His rope breaks due to the weight of the flashlight's rock components.

Jon didn't make up a grue...

Whatever, the Miner happens to have a parachute with him, so he uses that to slow his fall.
Unfortunatly, the chute gets caught on the wall of the pit, and it tears.

He grips himself to the wall, miraculously finding a ladder.
Climbing down the ladder, he finds that one (or more) of the rungs is missing.

He reaches down with his foot to the next rung which also appears to be missing. And the next. He begins to plummet. He throws the shredded parachute, which catches on a rock and he swings to safety.
The cave ends here.
Lurk more.

He takes out a pickaxe and strikes a wall a few times, revealing another corridor.
However, the aforementioned Jon runs out of the cave, pulls the Miner's pants down, and runs out. Now he's looking like a fool with his pants on the ground. D:

The Grue from Greek legend was not made by ProtonJonSA. However, ProtonJonSA once said "You are likely to be eaten by a Grue." In one of his videos. Anyway....

Ag-e (The Miner!) pulls his pants up and remembers American Idol. He then goes deeper into the cave, and he falls down a pit. He crapped bricks.  Also, the problem is that he crapped bricks. His butt hole is really raw and it hurts.
Ah, look at all the lonely people.

He grabs some lotion from a nearby basket, and, well... yeah. His butt doesn't hurt now from *blank*ing bricks.

This game is Spelunky. Period.

Seriously though, ropes, parachutes, the pickaxe, and FREAKING BATS are all things most common to Spelunky.

Our spelunker falls down a nearby well. He can't escape by climbing up because there is a crazed psychopath up there who wants to make a dress out of him.

His previously *blank*'d brick made acquaintance with the walls of the well and convince them to move aside. The psychopath makes a dress out of the bricks instead, but the well reseals itself after the spelunker passes through. He falls down into water. Roughly 16 feet deep.
Lurk more.

By pushing on the fourteenth brick from the left, he finds a secret passage. Unfortunately, there appears to be a giant wall of fire on the other side.
