[challenge/Environmental] Caverns monotony V2
« on: March 10, 2009, 23:56:28 »
Hej there.
Here`s a small challenge I made in a few hours. It`s the first level of mine I release here.
Nothing more to say ;)
But it would be nice to find some people who could test it. As I said, it`s not big but fine
(I hope).
Here are some screens:

This looks nice, but they kinda lack much of a background. :/

EDIT: There's an SGE in the second screenshot. The one tile squares need backgrounds. Since it seems you're using only one tileset, you can use the ground kits that KS comes with to fix that.

EDIT 2: The save spot in the first screenshot is in front of a corner tile. It's not much on an SGE, but it's kinda weird looking. :S

Why is everyone obssesed with backgrounds now? they seem to be thinking you need one, when you don't

I'll beta test this for you if you want, and give you some pointers, other than that it looks pretty.

Backgrounds make things prettier, which is kind of a good thing...

quick question: Which tileste did you use for that first screen? It looks suspiciously a lot like either "the cave and the machine" or my own "dark cavern (or whatever i named it" :) Just curious of course

It's definitely your tileset (that I'm using in TMG, too. X)).

Found secret room
Two careless wallswims if I remember correctly. One near the end. Obvious, really, if you play the level.
