Help on the furthest Planet!
« on: December 12, 2009, 20:08:03 »
Hey guys,

I'm on the Planet in the lowest right corner of the map, (can't remember the name of the planet) and i'm Stuck!
I've been doing the programming puzzles, and not having too hard a time with them, BUT!

The third puzzle has got me completely stumped. I can't figure out the system on how to combine the function with the main-part, to solve the puzzle. Image attached.

Any help?

- Loving the game btw.

Those function puzzles are my favorite ones so far.

There is a hint in-game that IMO makes them a lot easier:

I did this puzzle without looking at that, so I don't know how much it would've helped, but take a look at it anyways.

I can't remember the solution myself.  What I do remember is that

Edit: It seems my solution was different from Lightning Eagle's.  Either that or I'm not remembering my own solution well.

I used a totally different one! :P
Spoiler: Another solution (click to show/hide)

I completely forgot the hint system! xD
When I began playing I found that on the menu, but then I totally ignored it... :S
And there are some puzzles which took me quite a while to figure out... How come I never remembered using that? xD

The programing puzzles were also some my favorites, if not THE favorites. :)

Overall I think that gameplay-wise that is the stellar system I like the most. Nyquist-Meyer has the best puzzles and Gass Umbra the best platforming sections. =D

Thanks.

A semi-spoilery hint:

Knowing this makes things a lot easier.
good bye

I used the hint system very liberally on these puzzles.  They're brilliant, but they were making my head hurt.  Anyway, I just wanted to say that the hints provided by your PDA are a huge help.  They give you someplace to start.  If you work from there you should be able to figure out even the hardest of the puzzles.  What I like about the hints is that they don't solve the puzzle for you.  They just get you going.

There were hints? :O :jawdrop: Oh well. The puzzles weren't too hard if you just thought about them long enough.
Lurk more.
