I made a map like that on my walkthrough, so I was constantly looking at it. Then, when I saw it for the second time I said, "Hey! That looks awefully familiar."

Weird, I drew a map myself, and I too used a star to represent the start-terminal.

You just jump up the way you came in, obvious if you look at the picture 
(The red parts aren't dangerous, they're just painted I guess)

I didn't think she could jump that high. I seem to remember getting stuck there.

I think that has been addressed before. those numbers aren't used anywhere, they were there when Nifflas took the photo. So they're original blurb.
