Yup that's right :P After playing through Don't Eat The Mushroom I though to myself, "Hey I can do this no problem." So I spent my entire weekend making the entire NES Legend of Zelda game into a Knytt Stories level. So far I have the entire game laid out but there are no enemies to speak of yet because I want to make sure I have all of the maps and doors working properly before I start adding stuff that might break with the deletion or addition of a single tile >.>; So yeah :) Keep a look out for that. I should be done by the end of next weekend. If anyone wants some screenshots just ask, If you don't know what Zelda looks like by now then you should obviously go play it ;D

AWESOME! But LOZ is top-down and KS is a side-scroller. :/

Also, edit your thread name to this: "[Challenge, Puzzle] LOZ Clone" to conform with the rules.
...it Is gonna be a Challenge/Puzzle, right?  :huh:

Yes that may be true, but that's the whole fun of it ;) Playing through all of the maps with a totally different mindset on how to complete things. I'm going to do a short video of the first dungeon after I get home from work later tonight to show what it looks like. Some things are drastically different obviously...Like bombable walls and locked doors.

does anyone have any good video capture programs they can recommend? I have fraps but it doesn't work with knytt for some reason ;_;
