I think you should deffinatly "go down that road". It looks great. One thing you coudl do is maybe not make th forest go as perfectly diagonal, and rather have it spread out at some parts.

I like the detailed background, because it's different than what's usual. But, if it takes too much work, you're probably better off just going with a standard gradient.

The trees look okay on their own, but they look like they're in disconcertingly convenient stripes, and with the road running through it, the left forest looks less like a forest and more like an intermittent smattering of trees. Seeing the road under it just really makes it look less dense.
good bye

It looks great, and while going down that road is a forest which sounds really neat

You can turn onto the path you see leading off into the background and walk down it. Continue that direction and you will enter the forest you see. ;)

It's obviously difficult to make a depth effect on a 2D platform like KS, where things are supposingly seen as in a cut-through.
But I think this screen looks pretty good.
BTW, is the background a gradient or a tileset?

The background it a tileset. The blue to yellow backdrop is gradient, and everything that makes up the background (the land, the roads, the mountains, etc.) is all tileset.

Heh, I did something like that in a tileset that I recenly made. (Also, it's my first tileset ever! :O)

Also, this is the first time I've released it to the public. :3

EDIT: If you wanna use it, go ahead.

It looks very Mario Sixty-four-ish.
It's a good tileset, but the overall use doesn't fit the level in this part of the level. :(
It looks Mario Sixty-Four-ish because it's supposed to be. :P Look in the lower-right corner. And I meant you could use it in general for any future plans, too. :) Anyone can.

It does say "Loosely based on SM64" at the bottom right.  :P2

I indeed noticed that.
I just really don't have much use in this particular level for SM64.

You should really edit that and make the quote smaller. Some mod will do it otherwise.

1. Are you a new user, or are you from the old forum and you are suppose to be on the Beta list?

2. If you look underneath BSoaKFF Level Design, in #2, it states there will be 2tt Custom Objects. ;)

Evil beat the quote thing, lol.

Tip:
Make a backup somewhere else.
Cus I know from experience to do that.
I've had two levels deleted.
So, just make sure.
File size will be: Big.
