I wish I had some delicious food right now.

You have some! Unfortunately you can't enjoy it because your teeth are stuck together with super glue.

I wish for one of my half-formed novel ideas to suddenly be a finished idea for an awesome story, so I could have fun writing it and enjoy success publishing it.

Granted. An overwhelming wave of creativity strikes you. You immediately start to write your novel and you manage to complete it awesomely. But your wave of creativity has not yet stopped. You decide to revise the ending and continue the story. But your creativity seems endless, and after writing 325728723897423897589475824975829475829762489758947589247689467489 pages in a smaller font, your creativity still is going very well. You are now 60 years older, and still full of writing. Your family left you because all you could care about was your novel, but hey! its awesome! You continue to write and at age 89 you decide to publish the book. You call a publisher and they are eager to publish it. They ask you to bring the book to them for publishing. So when you get all the pages you printed together, you find out that you'll need a big truck to bring it to the publisher. So you hire a truck, put all the paper in the back and you set off to the publisher. Unfortunately, on your way there, you get a deadly accident... You overlooked that appartmentcomplex completely and well... thats life. :(

I wish I could see what the future holds for me.

Granted, but then you get your commemorative KS level completely spoiled before playing it.

I wish I could stay awake for days without feeling tired.

Wish granted, but you fall asleep immediately during driving and the last thing you'll see before you die is a young mother with two children trying to cross the road.

I wish temporary job I chose was something special in my life.

Granted. It's actually your dream job! You get paid generously to do what you love most. Sadly, since it's only temporary, you're let go after a few months and replaced with the boss' most incompetent friend.

I wish I could deploy an hologram of me like Juni does. It'd be mighty useful for holding my place in queues.

Granted, but you forgot how to turn it off, and as a result everyone ignores you, and you feel lonely.

I wish this windows 10 upgrade would not fail and allow me to upgrade keeping my programs.
Trying to upgrade fresh now, keeping files but losing programs. If that doesn't work, I'll stick with windows 8 until I need to reformat.

You successfully upgrade, keeping all your programs... including the virus you accidentally downloaded that records all your personal data, eats all your files, and holds your computer to ransom.

I wish to be able to play the violin!

Granted!  Too bad violins have suddenly become prohibitively expensive.  Your friends won't even lend you theirs - they say you'll just break it!

Granted. Time doesn't exist at all.

I wish Vegetal Gibber was not a prophet.
replaced with the boss' most incompetent friend.
Well, I don't get the job actually, because it seems that the company chose someone else at the last minute. >( Probably the boss' best friend.

He isn't! Instead, you're given the job but get hit by a bus on your first day.
Sad times.

I wish my phone hadn't wierdly just posted my 'Two Truths And A Lie' reply in the 'Corrupt-a-Wish' thread.

Granted. You're now in an alternate reality where that never happened. However, due to the butterfly effect, this causes a chain of events that ultimately ends with all of us being enslaved by the Space Egyptians. Turns out they were monitoring all our communications, and your misplaced post was supposed to foil their master plan by causing rampant confusion among their ranks.

I wish someone would pay me for watching YouTube videos.

Granted. We're all enslaved by the Space Egyptians and they pay you one first Zimbabwean dollar per day of videos you watch.

I wish I wasn't hungry.
