Help me translate the press release
« on: December 03, 2009, 13:42:49 »

Edit: As the game is already released, there's no longer a need to translate the press releases! Thanks for all the help I have received!

-----------------------------

Here's the press release for Saira. It's intended to be spread the same day as the game is released. Feel free to help me translate it to more languages.

I will take care of sending the press release to the English and Swedish medias, but if you have time to send translated press releases to countries which language you speak (not Swedish and English) you will get a free serial as thanks for this help, but only if you send me a PM the 10th or earlier for instructions (e.g. how to send a serial code to the medias so they can test the entire game). If you're a betatester and want to help out this way, I will give you a second serial code instead that you can give to a friend.

Sending press releases to medias is very accepted and not considered spam, but it have to be sent to relevant medias and not e.g. small blog owners or forums, otherwise this might be seen as spam campaign.

Current translations (and I changed the format to html by the way):
English - Tyrone Rodriguez' press release which the translations are based on
English (Photo Special) - Katie Jonsson
Dutch - LPChip
French - Yann van der Cruyssen
French - Epsicode
German - Paula
Hungarian - SianJai
European Portuguese - PONTO
Serbian - salejemaster
European Spanish - rrc2soft
Danish - LightningEagle
Polish - pawel
Czech - Comhon

The word "who's" at the start of the third paragraph should be "whose".

also Knytt and Knytt Stories are misspelt as Kyntt.

I dids germy translation! Although, I dunno, I'd also send the english version to all media, in case they want to shorten or modify stuff, so they know the original text.

Edit: Overcame laziness and copied the original's formatting.

Thanks a lot! It's by the way easier for me if a working text formatting is kept as I'm a bit unsure how to format it in different languages.

I notice the first two sentences have all words caps. Is that intentional? Because that's not what you'd normally do.

EDIT: And dutch translation attached. Note, I kept the contact information part english, and added (english) to it, so you won't get emails sent in foreign languages ;)

I don't know for sure but I assume so. This is one of the things that Tyrone does professionally so I assume he's right.

It could be certain american newsletter language, but I'm sure its not done in the Netherlands, so I kept it out of my translation.

In English all words in titles (except, usually, prepositions and articles) are capitalized.

The Hungarian version, as promised. :)

For the Thai version, I'll ask Cherry's help, since she's a native speaker.
