Niff chat

I am trying to run niffchat, but it's trying to install some custom made program, by niffals I suppose.
The problem is that I am using windows vista, and it blocks me from installing javaniffchat, because it's unauthorized. I tried to search how to unblock it, but I was unsuccessful, for now. I thought maybe someone here had this problem as well, and could tell me how to deal with it?

... you could just download a irc client wich has a few more options....

eg. Xchat

Which browser are you using? Maybe it has the Java plugin disabled.
