I guess you could say Notepad is the less painful to use among the standard Windows tools. But even then it has a lot of shortcomings:
  • Unicode?
  • it's very badly optimized; sure, it's light, but a lot of more complex text editors are still faster
  • Localized keyboard shortcuts (Shift+F12 to save?! What the!?)

On second thought, I think Character Map is the best Windows tool after all.

The editing is really very hard.
It could be very good to make the PDF user guide, or something like it.

We'll get to that, I guess. But first we need to have an overall view of the different parameters needed when creating a playable planet.

Nifflas, or whoever else can answer my question, what vector animation tool do you personally use?  I'm looking into buying RETAS for my own use. Would this work for Saira as well? I'm curious as to what you prefer. Thanks in advance.

Saira's sprite was created in Anime Studio Pro, as far as I know.
Nifflas mentioned it in relation to a secret in  Dragon Noir.
