First, a note: This forum topic was originally named "Comhon's Levels" and contained three levels of mine. Since the topic was made recently active, I splitted it into several ones for each of them: Knytt Garden, In the Hobbit town and this one, since the discussion here was mainly about it.


On the Treetops

"On the Treetops" is a medium level with lots of nice graphics and music.
It is about Juni, who fell from the treetops down and wants to go back home to the treetops.

EDIT: That was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it  :)
I would give the other levels a shot but I'm not a big fan of playground/environmental levels so I'll leave those to people who can appreciate them properly  :^^:

EDIT2: Ack, I almost forgot. I found something that might be a "bug" or could just be me being impatient :P
Oh, weird. Nevermind, couldn't replicate it so I'm not sure what the cause was  :/

The only single released level using one of my tilesets! :^^:
Not that I've made many tilesets, but it's still cool.

Okay, I'm *trying* to play On the Treetop, because I have a big thing for green levels ;-), but I think it's beyond my abilities. Sort of. Well, actually, it's a jump I know I've managed before, even a couple of times, but never without literally *hours* of trying, and I'm just not willing (nor able) to invest that much time at the moment.  But maybe I've missed something - a powerup somewhere, or another way 'out'?

See attachment for the jump I can't manage. I do not have the long-jump powerup, nor the double-jump powerup.

I've been running around the level quite a bit, poking my nose into places and there are a few very minor things I think could be "fixed". (When I say very minor, I really mean it. I've thoroughly enjoyed this level throughout  :^^:)

This is just nitpicking for the sake of giving some constructive criticism. This has become one of my favourite levels. Really impressive  :^^:

In 'In the Hobbit Town' on the screen [1003;1000] you can reach void, by climbing up the green wall.

It's been a while since I've been posting here, so I want to say 'Hi' to those who remember me, and to those who I don't know :)

"On the tree top" is very nice! Great use of music and perfectly balanced challenge/environmental. I enjoyed it very much  :)

Thank you! I suppose you are talking about the "On the Treetop" level. Or is it "Knytt Garden"?
I am thinking about polishing the level, improving the experience a bit (people on the latest stream noticed a few issues).
It has been ages since I worked on a KS level, so it might take some time.
But I am looking forward to working on it.

yes Comhon, I'm talking about "On the Treetop" ;-)
I haven't noticed any issues but I'm not an expert either
I felt very comfortable with the level and I will put it in my "feel good levels" and I will watch the rest very closely ;-)
