Here it is! I decided to make a thread for it in case anyone wants to discuss it. It would probably be better to keep non-competition-related stuff out of this thread, right?

I made an entry. It's not finished, so I'm submitting it as a demo. I didn't want to win anyway. I just didn't want to see a contest without competition. Augh... I don't know if I'll finish in time. Finding time for Knytt Stories in the first few weeks of college is hard. >_<

From wednesday, you have two more days before the contest is offically over. If you don't make your level in time, you should still complete it, maybe people will like it.

KS LEVEL COMPETITION 12: UNIQUE / UNUSUAL SETTING

Theme: The theme of 'unique / unusual setting' is open to interpretation! But ideally, I'd like to see levels set in places, times, contexts, etc. that have never appeared in Knytt Stories before. Perhaps even settings that are rare across all media, but that might be asking for a lot.

Custom tilesets are not essential: they would be a good way to establish a unique location, but there are of course other ways. If you want to make something that is just unusual, that's OK too, but there's a chance I'll like it less. Not that I've decided the judging process at all yet.

Deadline: October 11.
