I liked RhetoricStu's first level better than Caevstroy's.

I can say that now I won :P

Not that either was that good; it's just that Stu's didn't make me want to throw my laptop off of a bridge.

Ah, but you haven't played caevstroy's unreleased REAL first level! It's surprisingly unbroken (which may be why he didn't release it) and has some really fantastic ideas in it that I am constantly tempted to steal and pass of as my own.

>( FUNNY?? It's not meant to be funny! It's meant to be insulting!

You've been getting off lightly so far! here is a super pack of all the games I've made to insult you, parts 1 through 7!

And if that doesn't make you cry, just wait for parts 8 through 15!

I made an entry for the current competition: Snowy Island

Snowy Island was pretty fun. It had a lot of stuff from the last competition as well (ie cool umbrella challenges). Nice job.

Getting rather close to the deadline and only one entry... Is anyone else working on a level/is more time required?

What are the current theme and deadline? I can't figure it out from the thread's last schizoid pages.

I second Oskop's comment.  I had to shrug my shoulders and leave this topic for brains more skilled at translating chaos than mine is.

I'm entering! It's called Melanchoholia.

By the way, the theme is Isolation and the original deadline is January 5th. :^^:

i made a game! It's on topic! It's called "Desolate beans land"

it's quite too short but i think it poses the classic ethical dilemma which is "eating beans versus not eating beans"

Well I shall now declare the competition closed! I'll play them and score them tomorrow, since it's almost 2AM here right now.
I see three entries, by Caevstroy, Saba and Healy.

Results are in!

In third place with 11 out of 50 is
Caevstroy with Desolate Beans Land

In second place with 31 out of 50 is
saba with Melanchoholia

So in first place with 35 out of 50 is
Healy with Snowy Island

Score breakdown:

Healy: Snowy Island
Storytelling: 6
 Atmosphere: 7
Use of Theme: 9
Gameplay: 6
Fun: 7
TOTAL: 35

Saba: Melanchoholia
Storytelling: 1
Atmosphere: 8
Use of Theme: 7
Gameplay: 7
Fun: 8
TOTAL: 31

Caevstroy: Desolate Beans Land
Storytelling: 2
Atmosphere: 2
Use of Theme: 1
Gameplay: 2
Fun: 4
TOTAL: 11

I have to say saba's was actually my favourite but Healy got the storytelling and 'Isolation' the theme better.

So well done guys.
Healy gets the next competition!
