April 15th? Okay, I'm in.

To be clear, I assume we're not aloud to warp going left and right to lower or higher y pos on the level, yes?  Cuz, you know, otherwise what would be the point on two screen width?

Um...Also, how does one define a "challenge?"
Forever working on a Level called Sarah.

Warping is okay ONLY if it's the same Y position and if it's very apparent that you warp. I don't want to see this either:

Hopefully all of you will be able to complete your entries, this could be a very entertaining compo!

EDIT: Oh, and a "Challenge" would be a level where there's at least a moderate focus on getting past obstacles. You can also have heavy focus on graphics too, but give the player something to actually play.

Well supposing you have a left or right choice, and you choose to go left. Then you fall down a screen and go left again. It would seem as if you go three screens across. If you had gone right however, you would have noticed that the first two screens loop. Is that okay?

Yeah that sounds okay if you can potentially tell that it wraps.

I'd like to have some sort of background graphics on the screens going right and left away from the playable column, but they won't have anything the player can "play" on.

That's ok, right?

Eh, in my opinion that would take away from the 2-screen wide rule. It'd be better if you confine the player, wrap around, or (and some may not agree but it's fine with me) kill the player if they hit the edge of the screen.

Yeah... I didn't want to do wrap around.  So, I was going to have an extra screen to each side with the instakill.  I just preferred the buffer of one screen for what it allows me to do visually, but I can work with your limitation... I just can't depict it the way I wanted to.
