I think that Purple Pineapple could be scum... He is fingerpointing to all of the 3 people (including me) that we could be scum.
I think he is hiding the fact that he is scum and bringing it on to us. Im just doing what comes to mind...

True, but not if the mafia didn't want to reveal himself. Otherwise we know that one of the two is mafia, yes. However, I'm  afraid that someone would finish off the voted then, because he already had one vote and both had a 50% chance of being mafia. Therefore, I suspect the mafia will start voting. But if no one votes the day will never end...

If it's townie voting townie, the mafia could end the game then and there. I see no reason for him/her to shirk from doing so.

Not if the doctor protected the right person... but if I was mafia, I would take that risk. Oh, and just because someone decides to vote PP now doesn't mean he is mafia.

The reason PP claims to be mafia the whole time is probably because he wants people to think he's sarcastic. Reverse psychology. But he doesn't fool me!
And Gansta's "noobiness" is probably because he never have played a mafia game before, and I understand that.
But I'm not going to vote now since this is just speculations.
