Modify A Word Game! YAY!

Rules:

1. Play the game pwease!
2. Follow the forum rules pwease!
3. You can modify or add a word in a sentence. Only do 1 modification in a post pwease! Such as:

Person: The cat had a fine hat on
Me: The cat had a fine hat on a glorious
Person: The lady had a fine hat on a glorious
Me: The lady had a fine hat on a glorious day
Person: The walrus had a fine hat on a glorious day.
Me: The walrus had a fine particle-accelerator on a glorious day an so on

I start!

(changing the "a" to an "an" doesn't count as a word change does it?)
