I am still impressed anyone likes the features of KSA. Getting KSA online is a longshot, though. My only requirement regarding the source was that it had some purpose for being used, not just thrown about randomly. A few things are going to have to happen for KSA to become multiplayer:

1: KSA v.2 gets done. (less bugs, etc, overall a good thing for this to be done)
2: hugobros3 agrees to add full KSA support. (at this point we don't even know if the bugs are going to be fixed for KSO, so it's hard to say if he'd want to add support for KSA)

OR

1: KSA v.2 gets done. (again really needed, KSA has too many bugs to simply introduce new ones)
2: I figure out how to add online capabilities and awesome multiplayer.
3: I figure out how to host it somehow.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to say that it's NOT out of the question, (and I am not that strict with the source, I just like it to be used wisely) and also that it's going to take a lot of work to make KSA integrated or otherwise online. I know I said that I wasn't going to work on KSA, but this might just change my mind.

Having this happen would be the coolest thing ever!!!!!

Very glitchy, but it would be awesome to see this finished! Would also be fun if someone else logged in, I'm all alone... XD
EDIT: Bored just logged in. :P

Ok, now suddenly lots of people logs in, but it's laggy and I can't see what I'm typing and only some of the chat is visible.

Have you pulled down the bottom of the screen? It will reveal black on the boundaries, but you should be able to see everything.

Try putting your mouse over the bottom edge of the window. You should notice that you can pull it down to make it bigger.

So I'm the only person who can't get this to work, hu?  ;)
I opened the client twice and joined The Machine twice, but it fails.
I see "[you] blabla" in the user list in both clients.

Also, I highly doubt this works with objects at all - you know, enemies that interact with Juni and all that.
Are you working on that? I suppose it would be a tough job.

As you might know, the current OINC release is very buggy. Jamie lost the code. :(
Jamie then asked me to give him the latest stable build I got,
and I think that's the build he posted on the forums not so long ago - for temporary use.
I really had problems with it - mainly with the klikfarm server - hosting myself always worked pretty well.
So, erm, good luck with OINC and with this project... I hope I can play it soon, too ;)

I opened the client twice, in the same world. That HAS to work, but it doesn't.
What I mean with enemies:

Imagine this:

J1............XX..........................J2

J1 is Juni 1.
J2 is Juni 2.
XX is an enemy.

The enemy sees Juni 1 and runs towards her.
What does happen on Juni 2's screen?
Does the enemy run towards Juni 1? Are the enemies synchronized?

The enemies aren't synchronized, which can look a little weird sometimes. Try opening the machine again... make sure you click on the play online and choose a name.

Okay, thanks.
It doesn't work - I did check the box, sorry, should have mentioned.
Maybe it's my firewall. I just reinstalled Antivir yesterday, maybe I set it up to be very picky.
EDIT: Doesn't seem to work.

Possibly, though I've never had problems with Antivir. You might take a look into it... also, do you get an error message? If so, what is it?

When are you able to play the game?
When the client connects to the server?
I can walk around normally - I just don't see any other clients.

Plus, the client just froze - silly OINC. :sigh:

Make sure you check the box (I sometimes forget when I'm in a hurry), make sure you have v. 1.1, and as for seeing other people: they have to be on the same screen for you to see their Juni, but if you see only yourself in the client box, you are playing a level online that no one else is playing.

I did check it, I do have 1.1, I did open the client twice, that means I have two separate players (I said this already, TWICE! :P). They should see each other.
Plus, I just used WireShark to monitor the packets sent from/to the klikfarm server, and it does answer the client. It's no firewall. Maybe it's just OINC being buggy after all.
