I have mac osx, I'm trying to run executable files
but when I try to install bootcamp it says I need xp/vista disks when I dont really have them.
I don't have a Mac, but after googling Boot Camp I have a pretty good idea what it is.
Boot Camp isn't for running Windows programs in Mac OSX; it's for
installing (and booting) Windows on a Mac. This is why you need a Windows installation disk. If you buy Windows XP/Vista/7 and want to install it on a Mac instead of a PC,
that is what you would use Boot Camp for.
I don't know much about Macs, but the most popular thing I hear Mac users mention for running Windows programs is
Wine, which provides a framework for running Windows programs on a Mac.
Here's a guide to installing Wine.
