[Challenge] Amidst The Clouds (working title)

Seeing as my other projects are going rather slowly, I picked up this level as I thought I'd finish it moderately quicker. This is Amidst The Clouds, the spiritual sequel to Dark Sea, but only in style. This level features Juni exploring an air fortress, to see what it's purpose is and hopefully stop it from blocking the sun over the city below. Custom objects, tilesets, and music will abound. I'm betting it will be Very Hard, but it might be a little bit easier than that.

I love the way the "air fortress" looks, but I don't like the mix of art styles in the first screen - the clean, minimalistic fortress tiles, the scribbly clouds, the blurry background - they do not work together.

An observation I agree with myself. Those screenshots are really just simulated (I was using 2 radically different tilesets in a rather clashing matter), and will be duly replaced once I got some more graphic work underway. For now, here's Juni in a motorboat.

I guess I should update with a real screenshot, so one is there in the main post. I forecast progress will be slow with this level (particularly with music. Anybody have or know where to get some creepy airy music?) but hopefully I can manage to finish it before the end of the year.
