... you could always change the display settings to a number that is a multiple of 600... personally I only use windowed, because i cant run fullscreen in DarWine (i'm on a mac)
I'm not dead. Not entirely. And yes, I'm embarrassed by most of the posts I made here.

I use windowed mode, though I can play in fullscreen because my CRT monitor doesn't blur the pixels.

I know, now everyone's gonna kill me for owning a CRT monitor <_< Well, they're waaay better than they seem.

BTW: Sorta offtopic, but if anyone's wondering, my resolution is 1152 * 864.

I started playing at fullscreen, but now I think that windowed mode is the best experience for this game.

Well, when I first started playing Knytt Stories, and played The Machine, I found it looked so good I didn't need full screen. Drakkan came along with FM and insisted "set your screen to full" or whatever it was, and I did that, although I've never seen the point. I just play the small version.

It really depends on my mood.  I usually put in fullscreen, but sometimes I just don't care.
The Grifter is the scariest damn movie I think I've ever seen.

Bump

I prefere full screen, it looks great for me. I can see for people used to resolutions of 2560*1600 would have a problem with the blurryness but ive got a modest resolution monitor and i don't mind.

Fullscreen is a crime against pixel art.

I play short levels in window mode, but levels like FM2 I play in full-screen.

I used to play 'special' levels like that in full screen once in a while, but it doesn't seem to work on Vista.
Lurk more.

Yes, that's a good point. Not to mention that if I have IRC or something running in the background, I'll play in windowed mode so I can chat with my friends at the same time.

Full screen looks great both on my laptop and desktop, no fuzzies or distortion, and I find it more immersive.

There's also a practical reason - if you're playing a level with difficult challenges, it helps if you can see things clearly. I find the windowed mode a bit too small and always fare worse in tricky jumps/timing challenges.

I used to play all levels on windowed mode. As LimeLemon said, it's just looks better. But for very hard / lunatic challenges with pixel-perfect jumps I use Fullscreen
