New shift will not work with a cutscene

Helloooo, I posted a level back on the old forum(Chambers, chances are nobody remembers it  :/).

Anyway as I'm working on my new level I added a shift to a screen that made it shift one screen to the left with absolute coordinates to prevent wallswimming. The shift also plays a cutscene. Problem is, once I activate the shift, and the cutscene finishes, the game shoots itself in the foot or something and throws me back to where I started.

The oddest part is, the shifts work completely fine without cutscenes. Does it have to do with the number of total cutscenes in a level? I have like, 4 so far.

What's wrong here?

If needed I can post my level so you can A.) rip me and my level designing abilities to shreds B.) examine it for the error I'm apparently missing C.) both

Make the shift autosave.
