Anyway as I'm working on my new level I added a shift to a screen that made it shift one screen to the left with absolute coordinates to prevent wallswimming. The shift also plays a cutscene. Problem is, once I activate the shift, and the cutscene finishes, the game shoots itself in the foot or something and throws me back to where I started.
The oddest part is, the shifts work completely fine without cutscenes. Does it have to do with the number of total cutscenes in a level? I have like, 4 so far.
What's wrong here?
