this was one of those 'hey-wait-a-minute-that-was-such-an-easy-puzzle-why-didn't-i-think-of-that-before' things, and i noticed it when going through tilesets and the level map
first time, i solved by trial and error

Two years later!  I'm thoroughly and completely stuck on the fifth problem in the last puzzle (Underwater Adventure).  Can anyone explain why the solution is:

In the first row each symbol has one continuous line.  In the second row each symbol has two separate lines. Choosing the symbol with three lines makes each symbol in the third row have three lines.

so THAT is why symbol 3 is the solution. Wow.....
