Argument Starter: Not WiiWare Exclusive?

The Nicalis website has been revamped - again.  Frankly, it's a horrible mess of non-information, and both the forum and the ability to leave comments on the "news" are utterly gone, but that's not the point.

Go to the website, and click on "Games."

Note what it says about Night Game:
Platform Unannounced

This has been there for at least two weeks now.  I feel it's topic-worthy.

Now, I know that it's been labeled as Wii exclusive many times.  But, they changed this from "WiiWare" to "Platform Unannounced."  There's a reason for this, even if it's "hey, let's give those dupes over at the Nifflas forum some false hope."

I'm not sure what else I can say about this.  I think I'll just sit back for a day and let the other forumers fill the cracks.

Hey, uh. You're just looking at the main Nicalis site, which hasn't really been changed any since it was launched (November or December 2008, I believe). And it has always shown NG as being "platform unannounced"- they've just never changed it to be WiiWare.

The blog and forum are still there, too, though the site layout is confusing enough that I wouldn't be surprised if you missed a link to it. (Still no links to Nifflas's site though, on the main site or on the blog.)

La-mulana isn't in the games section either, and the screen for cave story is kind of old. The site isn't lying, its just terribly out of date.

Ohhh.  From my understanding there were four Nicalis website layouts - the first was basically just a blog, the second was one similar to the one I linked to, but not quite, the third was the /blog/ one, and the fourth is the one I linked to.

It turns out that the second was the same as my presumed fourth, and that Nicalis' crazy confusing method of having their old Flash website as their homepage has caused me to create a useless topic.

Thats why I said "isn't in the games section".

I don't know about PS3's live arcade and what it takes to get your game there, but I do know that it's awfully demanding and time consuming to get your product to XBox360's live arcade. WiiWare is probably the easiest amongst the consoles currently, so I still have my bets on the game being a Wii exclusive. ...at least for starters.
