3 is perfectly acceptable too . I thought it was something like 3 too, but then I thought.. 3 is really very little. Probably 5 or 6

It is possible just very hard to do.

Depends on how good you are at the type of visualization required.

First time I did it I didn't look at the other half of the screen at all, and didn't realise there was a mirror image thing going on, I just did it by trial and error, working out where things were!

And keep in mind that the third screen has no challenges at all, just the (admittedly worthless) hint.
