[Insane] Hardest. Glass. Ball. Challenge. Ever.
« on: August 09, 2009, 23:53:50 »
I always see people insisting that this challenge is impossible.

Well, insist no more. Corner glitching experience, combined with other kinds of bad collision checking, allowed me to do this...

    :whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:
It's really hard, but... I did it. No trainers, no hacking, no file or source editing, just normal WaDF. 8)

Corner glitching is so fun ^_^

I'm not sure if I'll be able to recreate it, though. It was a weird problem that caused bad collision checking :/

I don't believe you can get the second 5, because you simply cannot outlive the fall as there's no corner around.

Also, you can't bounce against the walls fast enough to get in such angle to actually survive that.

So yeah, must be either using a trainer or photo editor. Without a movie, I simply will not believe this.

I have reason to believe if you knock yourself against the walls at the right moment you could survive. If you get extremely lucky.

I tried that. You just don't get enough horizontal momentum to accelerate far enough to hit that corner. I couldn't even bounce more than 1 time before getting on the bottem smashed in pieces.

Can you elaborate on the other kinds of bad collision checking?

I'm seriously looking into getting this done, I just don't see how with the knowledge I currently have.

The second one is every bit possible.  Really.  Granted, you need to be really lucky, but with enough persistence you'd get it.

That Dr Cliche is sure going to be mad.

Also, on a related note, why does Cliche leave his code out in the open for everybody to see? Wouldn't it just be better to, oh, write it down, instead of publically displaying it in the lab?

Because he is a cliched mad scientist.
