ERROR:The data folder is missing?

Hi im new to this game and i just downloaded it and i opened up knytt stories and it says ERROR:The data folder is missing. What do i do to fix that? Sorry if im not on the right forum.

It means exactly what it says. The folder data in KS is missing. This might happen if you just downloaded KSA instead.

And also if you're trying to run the game from within a zip-file.

I've got a confirmation by PM, that it was indeed caused by improper unzipping. He`ve got it working again.
