Well, besides the fact that the grass appears to be a silhouette version of Knytt Nano grass,
I just noticed that there are houses in the screen with the ball in the car.
XD

Oh, but in reference to our conversation about the machines/puzzle boxes/etc.

Spoiler: Night Game Red Machine (click to show/hide)

I also have reason to believe that this

is probably the very beginning of the game, for it was the first screenshot released, is the first of the video, and seems to have no where to go or get there other then the way the ball is traveling in the video. There also isn't much of a difference between the original art and the video, aside from the spider web, clouds, dangling vines, Ledge piece in corner, and the gradient, which is only different because it is blended better.

I think that the blend is merely bad quality.
Lurk more.

At first I thought that too, but it's obvious that the clouds are completely different, and there is no sign of the stars, therefore this is room for the possibility of it being a different gradient.

The first "screenshot" wasn't a screenshot.  It was concept art, which an area ended up being based on. <_<

The clouds and whatnot are not part of the gradient.
