i believe you can manually type it into world.ini, but you can't filter it and maybe can't see it at the popup at the bottom of the level list. Probably best to put it under misc, or possibly environmental (if there're no challenges)

I think he meant on the forums. As in, can he do "[easy][musical]LevelName".

I can't imagine anyone getting upset over a custom genre.

Cool, I was just wondering if there was any regulations over custom level genres, because in the world.ini it tells you what genres you should have.

Those are really only the genres the level editor recognizes.

I know, but when you highlight the game, it says the genre down the bottom.

There's no particular bug with entering a genre other than the defaults, but you obviously won't be able to filter for it, which is annoying.

Anything that doesn't fit the normal descriptions should be under Misc.; if you want, you can add something else to your topic title or something, but please just use Misc. in the game so that it can be filtered!

Ah yes, if you misspell something like miscellaneous, you can't filter it.

On the forum, I don't have much of a problem with this, but the knyttlevels site will not allow for custom genres, because it would make filtering on them practically impossible.

If you want to make your level conform that, use misc.
