Weird...
« on: July 16, 2009, 04:55:38 »
I gave up on this game, as i found it boring... BUT when i WAS playing, I had just started a new file, and when i went to the #MAS forum arrea where you completer the game, It said "congratulations, you finished the game"
I hadent even completed the first level

WTF????
I'm not dead. Not entirely. And yes, I'm embarrassed by most of the posts I made here.

the same thing (or similar) happened to me too the first time. i had JUST extracted the game, went to #modarchive to the right, and saw a dancing guitar or whatever. i left later, and then tried going in, and it said to show some skill. must be a bug with the savefile/default values for some things.

Did you download the game from greywool.com?

This happened to me once too. I can't remember the circumstances, but I don't think I'd 'just extracted it'- I think I'd been playing it for a while.

Well, I have tested it.
It happens because whoever uploaded that .zip folder forgot to take out their own save file, so when you start it you have a completed game on slot 1. Just click Erase Savefile on the main menu and select that first slot.

Edit: Or simply erase savegame.ini when you extract the files. Don't worry, the game will create it again to store your data.

Let's just hope J reads this and solves the problem. :P

Yeah, had uploaded it from the original source without having a close look and indeed, the first save slot was for a finished game. Reuploaded with all clear saves now. C)p

You can. Just beat the game on the first save slot, then start a new game. ;)
