I'm hosting my own server right now. (OFFLINE) I could try and help with little issues, however I need to go to bed now.

IP nao:92.15.74.47:25564
I am also looking into a web redirect for this, so try entering this into the ip bar:
jesoa.servegame.com
Which redirects to an auto-updated IP.

(in case you're wondering, JESoA stands for Jim's Epic Server of Awesome)

By the way, the IP keeps randomly changing.
Go to
jesoa.servegame.com
to find out the current IP :P2

In case anyone is wondering why the server has been down:

Jim informs me that the server has been attacked by "Spambots who constantly advertise viagra".
Each of these bots apparently has a super long name, which makes it more time consuming to ban them.
I'm sure jim will let us know when the viagrabots are gone.

Until then:

well...
tecnically /ban acl would ban me. as long as there are at least two letters that identify just one person, it works

It appears that the server spambots have died.
The link: jesoa.servegame.com is working again, so i imagine jim won

To Summarise: NO MOAR VIAGRAH

{update} It appears that due to the new update today, the server's client is now outdated and won't let you connect  :/

That doesn't work, the /ban and /banip commands require a full name for safety. (if there was you and someone called "aclothesline" on the server, /ban acl might ban either of you)

Also, Server 0.2.4 doesn't work for some reason, It just keeps throwing an exception on startup. Can anyone understand this?
Code: [Select]
java.lang.VerifyError: (class: bw, method: run signature: ()V) Incompatible argument to function
        at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.main(SourceFile:480)
        at Main.main(Main.java:29)
Press any key to continue . . .
Pressing any key closes the program. Any help?

If you reinstalled RuneCraft, that may be it. RC has no yet been updated, i don't think.

Oh, hey, the server fixed itself. Weird.
IP:92.15.90.147
Port:25564 or 25565 (try 25564 first)

I have found a static IP service that doesn't ask for £240 a month!
Nao I must find out whether it is a scam, or if I am eligible.

In other news: I have set the forum to require an email verification, to possibly combat the endless hordes of spambots.

(WARNING to the person who runs the spambots: once I find the e-mail of one of your spam accounts, I can and will trace it back to your ISP (no matter if the address was faked, you're still on a server) and a quick query to the nameservers will tell me the e-mail that you used to sign up to your ISP, and any others that have been used by you. You like spam? I'll post your e-mail all over the internet. That should get you some.)

jesoa.servegame.com nao works-sorta.
visit it, and copy the IP from the address bar, minus the ":25566" part.
The server now runs on 25565, so it's not needed.

There will soon be a webpage on 25566 with news, connection instructions, auto-updated maps, etc. soon.
