This is quite amusing and addictive. It's easy to make big mistakes if you're not careful, I have noticed Spoiler: My Experience So Far (click to show/hide)I discovered I could delete ground underneath me. I investigated how far down I could dig. I met the bottom. I panicked for a bit, noticing I couldn't get out. Then I had an idea and began digging out stairs. I came out in a mysterious cavern! I went back down my stairs a bit and dug out a hallway, made a nice little room, was just finishing changing my stone walls to wood paneling when I suddenly dug into a pocket of magma...The room filled pretty quick, but I figured out how to contain it and kept it from flowing into the hallway. Blah blah blah, got rid of the lava, finished my paneling. I tried decorating my room with flowers. They died. So I went off back to the mysterious cave and tried to find a way I could make my route out to the surface. I noticed that seeing where my little tunnel was in this big stone chamber would be hard, so I began paving the path with yellow brick! I did that all the way down my stairs. Then I found a way to the surface, yellow bricks all the way. Then, suddenly, a thought about my flowers struck me: Maybe they need sunlight! (this is the good part) So, I went back to my room and set to work on a skylight. It took a while to dig up. I had to jump, put a block under me, delete blocks above me, etc. Finally I destroyed the top block. The tunnel was draped in a dark blue light. I thought it was simply nighttime and that for some reason that meant everything turned blue, so I dug my way back down through the blocks which had helped me up. I reached my room, and that's when I noticed something was wrong... I was moving kind of slow... huh... Hey, I could swim... uh oh... I swam back up the skylight and popped up out of the lake... The rest of my time was spent trying to get all the water out of my tunnels.Oh yeah, the flowers still died even with the skylight. But hey, I did get to add a nice pool to my room.
One of my favorite DS games rendered in Minecraft goodness
Okay, I've made an account now, so I made an attempt at some bigger stuff. First I built a house, then I built a giant underground chamber underneath it, then I built a tower in the chamber. What a waste of... how many hours? I don't know... Four prehaps I took pictures too. I am proud of my giant chamber.Spoiler: (click to show/hide)The house:The house has a balcony:Heading down into the chamber:Inside the chamber, looking up:The tower, built after the previous picture was taken:You can't really tell in the pictures that it's as big as it is, but whatever.
