I have the same problem as Emeraldfire7. Apparently, the server software can only create servers that are down, can anyone help us here?

I was thinking maybe you need to be registered to operate a server most people that i see are registered that have servers (mybe shawnachu should start the niff server )

Heres my huge map, instead of making a bunch of screenies i just recorded a video, its in terrible quality but the recording lagged really bad so i had to put down key frames  anyways heres the youtube link

Bumping because Minecraft is the official game of the forever. Paid Alpha is the nuts. Free Creative mode still rocks hard. Somebody get a niff server online already (for the purpose of recreating Wadf in 3D and stuff like that ).

Huge bump by the way, but I guess it's worth it. Alpha's great fun and survival multiplayer is coming soon.

Notch is selling creeper T-shirts (saw it on his blog) !!  I want one!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Minecraft survival multiplayer more than any other game right now.  I'm sure it will be released before the summer's over, and that makes me happy, since the only two weeks I'm not working are the last two.

bump because this is only about one update from beta, after which the game will sell for $20 (£12.58, €15.14, ~150 SEK)

also I found a way of giving premium membership to other users (http://www.minecraft.net/gift.jsp) in case anyone wants to do that.

I love this game but I hate playing with pugs... We need a niff server.

I have all the software to create a classic or alpha server, but I wouldn't be able to play as well 'cause I'm on the same IP and I can't hack into the neighbour... T_T

It is not an official niff server (there will be a few other people) and will only be open so long as my PC is on (16-23 week, 10-24 'end)

It is called "Jims epic server of awesome"

If I recognise any of you guys on there, I will promote you to builder rank! Troll (aka grief) and I will not hesitate to use the /nerve_gas or release the /killer_phoenix! (but I know none of you will do that) (and they really are real commands)

It is a MCZall server, so check http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/MCzall for a list of the many (many many many) special commands!

EDIT:I am about to make a dedicated Nifflas map. Any preferences on map type? The options are:flat, island, forest, mountain, pixel and desert.

down? how? logs don't say anyone has even tried to connect...
