I wanted to make a small environmental  level, about some world similar to Antarctica.
Considering I live in New Zealand, I know quite a lot, so that helps.

no real plot yet, but I'll be sure to add one.

It looks alright, but it could maybe use some more decoration. I realize it's supposed to be desolate and lifeless, but it looks a bit boring as it is. A custom tileset would benefit this level a lot, check out the old forum for some good ones.

Check out my tilesets!

Looks good. The whatever in the second screen seem a bit too abundant, though.
Lurk more.

Did you mean the background birds? because yes.
There's 110011 kinds of people in the world. Those who understand binary, Those who don't, and those who confuse it with ASCII.

Not the boat, the birds. There are too many.

WAY too many. O_o

Also, I'd like to second the idea of adding more detail. The first screen's pretty bare as is.

sure, I suppose I could ^^

i'm on holiday, so I'll work on it then, but I will have no internet, so requests right now will help.
I've also halved the amount of birds you see in those screens

(note: the penguin-like creatures are co's at different speeds, so it looks like they're all shuffling around ^^)

The birds are awesome.
I think that everything is already clear, isn`t it? More details, a better boat...
It owuld be cool to have something like an transparent Ice-cave or something like that, you could use CO`s to create a really cool one, just so you know.
And I would love to see some Eskimos =D

I was on holiday, so I had hours of private time to work on this.

I've made some CO's, some custom enemies and all those tricks, and I've used as little, but as much as I could to create a more detailed, but still empty space.

Here's some new screenshots:
Spoiler: (click to show/hide)
I modified this one (see first post)
the other one has one or two small "visual" bugs I haven't yet attended to.

these two are new.
oh, and vinterrun: It's a knytt equivalent of the antarctic. no Eskimos.

To be honest I preferred the old screenshots; these new ones are very cluttered, and, as such, not really appealing.

I'd really suggest making a custom tileset to replace that default winter one; it hardly needs to be very fancy, since you are, after all, going for a feeling of emptiness.
