Great news:
#1 Just got an email from the music artist giving me the thumbs up to use his music. Therefore, ALL custom music confirmed and ready and waiting for me to finish the damn areas to use 'em in!

#2 Using a different computer, it seems the strange purpley tinge to the previous screenshots wasn't an issue after all - it was the monitor's colour setting, I think. (Okay, so that's not exactly great news, but at least it ain't my laptop!)

p.s. As another shameless plug, check out the link in my signature (or the first post) for a download of the abandoned version of this project and let me know what you think - I'm reusing some ideas from it in this, and feedback would be great!

Here're a couple of custom objects that were in place from the start. I'm not overly happy with the sun, but I can't be arsed to change it because it took a while to do...

Also note, the background of the sun.gif isn't what will be in-game. It's just that it makes the corona easier to see...

Thank you, that's appreciated. However, these tilesets are NOT for public use... yet. I'll let you know if / when I want to give them a public release, but at the moment, they aren't.

A shameless bump with an update. The first area is now fully finished with the exception of an fisherknytt CO which I'll work on when I get home. The second area (still part of the first chapter) is around 50% complete. See the first post for updated details.

It's feeling like if I keep working on it as much as I have done this weekend, the first chapter would be finished in a week. However, I was planning to wait until the Knytt Levels archive was updated, so you might have more of a wait than anticipated. I guess that does mean I'd perhaps be able to work on the second chapter and who knows, the whole lot might be finished by the time KL is done.

Those screens are beautiful! This looks like a work of art! All-new everything, and you're making all of this yourself? sounds ambitious, but awsome! I love great environments in levels.

In the first screenshot, there are these tiny black dots that look like they're coming out from beneath Juni's dress. ...what are those?
