My awesmoe "game" (and other, more awesmoe) music.
« on: June 22, 2009, 23:41:52 »
This is a bunch of "game" music I have made. It is crap awesmoe.

This is twelve-tone "game" music, which exists because it can.

Incidentally I do not typically like real game music.

This I think is neat but it's not "game" music so now the title of the topic is wrong. Oh well. No I edited the title.

EDIT: A compilation of awesmoe stuff that I've posted in this thread.

This other thing, which uses some of Nifflas's samples.

Quasiauthentic 8-bit music.

Fun stuff.

The Wedding Dress Song. (An arrangement of a traditional folk song.)

Fraudulent ambient music.

dealy5.

Fraudulent exotica.

I don't even know.

Another.

A fiddle solo.

(OLD THINGS)

Jel.

Actually it's in quotes because the basis for this music is quasi-satirical. (That is, there is lots of mediocre game music out there, and I made some of these because of how easy it is.) (The rest [the ones without names which are a single number] are pastiches of music from Starfy games. I made it because of a discussion in #niffchat. 9_9)

Also: no, these aren't in any games, nor do I plan to use them in any games/levels I myself make. However, anyone who would like to is free to make use of (or mess with/remix and then make use of) any or all of this music in their game/level/whatever as long as I am credited. (And by "remix" I mean potentially actually remix it not just fiddle with it. I'd be willing to give anyone the .it files for any of the "game" music if they were to PM me asking nicely and telling me what they'd want to do with it.)

Also again: I made this new thing. It's not game music (or "game" music) at all, but I like it very much and so am posting it here. (And editing the OP to include a link to it.)
good bye

That one's better than the first ones, IMHO.

I was going to ask about it since the name of the files have a striking resemblance to the name of the game StaRfy.

New music.

It is different from the other music. (Also: it uses a handful of samples from Nifflas's sample pack dealy [THIS IS A CREDIT]. All the others are just MIDI.)

More. (I can has FamiTracker, so this is considerably more "authentic" "game" music than the phony stuff in the OP.)

I arranged the Wedding Dress Song, daddio.

(Did not write it. It is a traditional Appalachian folk song.)
