Why does this forum doesnt have an icon?

It looks like no one can post here, since no one can see it...

Because there's not just one game in it. All abandoned projects end up here. Too many to list, so nearly impossible to make an icon for. Besides, on the top, the forums don't have an icon either.

Evil, I can understand your confusion.  It is pretty close to the icon description, and it sort-of blends into the background that way.  Actually, it was a while before I first found it.

Not to mention it's a whole row of icons, followed by.. well.. nothing to pop out at you. You could naturally overlook it.

Any suggestion on how to fix this? Cus I can't find a way to do that. Giving this forum an icon won't really do it, as there isn't really an icon to give for a collection of games.

EDIT: How about this? I've now added a few enters in the description, making the box bigger.

How about taking a few screenshots of the abandoned stuff (WaDF2, Goble, Dis, PWIW)?

Perhaps we could get someone with drawing abilities to make a nice icon along the lines of this hastily drawn tombstone, to mark the burial place of game ideas?

I'd almost suspect certain people to later think that it's an actual screenshot of one of these games and wonder where you could find it.

I'm not going to put an icon for this forum, so you don't have to waste time making one. I made a fix, and I'm not even getting response to that. So its most likelly not an important issue anyway, people just use excuses to get an icon there it seems.

Well this sorta a shot in the dark, and as it seems your dead-set on not making an icon, but just a thought.

Nifflas' released games each have their own sub boards inside the "Released games" board, so why not make sub boards for all the abandoned games? True, it would require more icons, and I'm in no way trying to promote the idea of more icons, but it just makes since that each of Nifflas' MMF entities receive their own personal section to be talked about instead of being smashed all together. Just because they are unfinished doesn't necessarily mean they are unimportant...

The big difference between the released games and the abandoned games is the size of the game and length of gameplay. If I make a forum for every abandoned game, there simply will be alot of empty forums. In fact, the current forum already shows nearly no activity, and the old forum didn't had that many topics for all these games either. For example: "Dis" is a great game but only features 3 screens and about 10 minutes gameplay. There's not much you can talk about. Knytt Experiment is a full game on its own, just got abandoned, so it has its own forum. WaDF2 is reasonable in size, but unfinished. This game is a doubtable case, but since the total of the abandoned games, inclusive WaDF2 still has about the size of one game and gameplay of one, we grouped it all together. Don't forget, the more forums you have, the longer the list with forums and the less overview you have.
