i think i'm confused about the knytt level forum stuff

ok here's what i think has happened and you guys can tell me if this is wrong

before there was a forum for knytt level creators to discuss their games and for people to post their favourites lists so that other people who don't have the time to sort through poorly constructed or unfinished levels can find well-made and enjoyable ones
that forum has been taken down with the promise of a new place to do that stuff
and now there is still no place to do that stuff

its because the people working on that thing have not finished it.
Logic, eh?

in the meantime, can't there just be a forum where you're not allowed to upload the levels directly but have to link to the knytt level archives? or is there one already that i just haven't found?

There is no place for favorite level lists on the forum, and I don't think it's an important enough need to warrant a temporary forum until the archive upgrade is done.

You can always post you favorite level list on like a blog or something and link to it in your profile, if it's that important.

I obviously hope that'll be soon, but as I'm quite busy with the house I've bought, I have to prioritise a bit. Do note that I plan to release a beta version as soon as I can. It'll have very little functionality, but it'll being build upon.

So it's taken you all this time to create a small beta? This must be a huge project.

It's more complicated to get to work than huge. And it's difficult to keep up the motivation for continuously working on complex things when you also try to have a life. I'd say.

Or simply not enough time to make large amounts of progress.
I know personality that LPChip is a rather busy person, in relation to existing projects, LP explained that he is quite strapped for time, and most of his online time is while he is at work... so since LPChip can't really program much of a site when he is supposed to be working, it has to be that smaller amount of time that he has at home.
