Killing enemies?
« on: May 31, 2009, 04:34:13 »
Is there a way to make an enemy that you can kill in the game? Or a way to kill an enemy? Because I want to make a boss in my game. Is there a way to make a collectible that if you touch, then it'll give you extra jump.

You can sort of do these things with shifts. (Like making each screen a frame of an animation for the boss enemy. cf Bass's levels, esp. Vengeance) But you cannot make an actual enemy object which you can kill, and unless it's added in a mod, probably never will be able to.
good bye

Since this is for Knytt Stories, I'm moving this to Knytt Stories Level Editing support. Creativity Support is for questions not concerned about existing Nifflas games.

I'm also currently making complex bosses. You just use shifting. Learn it well and then make bosses with them.  ;)
