My thoughts are about the same as ego's. I was thoroughly fooled by the beginning of the level and admittedly almost gave up on it. I was really surprised by the sudden change from "bad" to good. I also really appreciate the "story" of the level.

A bit late to the party, but I just wanted to say that I too enjoyed this little level :D  I really liked the new tilesets, the shading on the more elaborate screens and the message the level conveyed. My only gripe would be...

I developed this level mostly at night, meaning I never intended for it to be that dark! I'll be sure to fix that in v2... whenever that comes out  ;)
