I'm looking for levels with advanced Custom Objects, like Shipwrecked or TEMP III. Do you know any levels like them ?

Oh wow, I know there were at least a couple, but I can't think of any right now. Uh, OH MAN GO TIIIM3? That uses some advanced techniques.

Oh, Healy, you flatter me!

ixMarcel, can you explain what you mean by "advanced" custom objects, perhaps give some examples? Do you mean like Shipwrecked's skeletons that explode when you get too close (as in, custom graphics that cover existing objects) or something else?

I mean levels with things like: cinematic intro in TEMP III, or innovative cutscenes in Shipwrecked.

OK, let's see... I'm sure at least some of these will be what you're looking for. Less appropriate examples are towards the bottom of the list.
  • Sputzna has an awesome ship launch cutscene.
  • Dark Sea 2 features a submarine descent animation, and titles that introduce new areas and then fade out.
  • My Super Secret Basement has some ridiculous animated backgrounds.
  • Rainy Day Adventure features custom objects that periodically black out parts of the level, rendering them invisible.
  • Tewniletes features secret party lighting effects.

I made a level that is a simple demonstration of animating character movements for Knytt Stories 1.2.1 (That's the current official version of KS.) Automation Technique It's the same premise my animated cutscenes are based on. Temp III uses a different method which is just as effective.

There are similar cutscenes to those in Shipwrecked in A Knytt in Time, but without visible animations. The automation technique is used in Something with Snow AKA: Tundra Trek, an unfinished collaboration level.

Is Tundra Trek ever going to get finished? I'd love to see it someday...

I may have mentioned that I'd take a turn on it after finishing The Dying Core. I'm buried in so many other projects that I've been avoiding it though. I guess I ought to do something about it since I had a hand in it, and I'd hate for one of my projects to go unfinished. [/offtopic]

Camping by Farik had some pretty nice CO's, but I can't seem to find a link to it.
Apocolyptic City was an environmental level I started way back when with a healthy amount of CO's in the first few screens. Still tinkering with it on occasion.
