I've looked through all recommendation topics and the temporary level release board here multiple times, but I'm out of levels again. And this game is surprisingly addictive.
Which levels are easy to miss despite being good? What did I overlook in my search?

I really like unique stages, especially "Change the view" (minimap), "Don't Eat The Mushroom" (well executed randomness), "Knytt 8bits" (8bit adventure), "Harvest" (adventure, where you watch the world change) and "A Knytt in Time" (a large adventure with tons of secrets). However, I enjoy playing environmental and puzzle stages a lot, too.

Enemies are fine, but I'd prefer non-challenge stages (i.e. the difficulty shouldn't make me want to just cheat past it).

List of all levels I have (sorted by size and author, sorry):

Eurydice, Petals of a Dying Flower, My Loving Hadron Collider and Coldmist Mountain are all great levels by Talps.

Enemy Mine is a good challenge level by dave.germain.

I'm sure you're already doing so, but keep following the level competition thread; some great levels are made because of it.
i have been registered on this forum for half of my life

Some levels you might like are B-Man - Monochromatica Grotta, dessgeega - The Oubliette, dessgeega - Torchlight, Farik - Homeland beta, Farik - The Hunt, Farik - Station Sputzna beta, Ghormak - Rain, Grimwit - Underground, KG - Teenhmifnoeafgil and R Hunter Gough - At Land.

Why not try this list? It seems to be roughly what you're after.

Theres alot of levels on the list I liked. I liked levels like 'Harvest', 'Kyntt on the Moon', and 'Ship Wrecked' for example.

I really enjoyed 'Weird 2' and 'Don't Eat the Mushrooms' because of just the strange things that would happen.

These are some old levels, but they're worth a play through.

Return to Luminous City by Jeppo
A storied journey with lots of back tracking. I'd consider this a predecessor to levels like A Knytt in Time.

Trek by Terv
A playground full of things to find. I'd consider this a predecessor to levels like Gaia, but I'm not sure that it came first.

I got some levels I made some time ago.

And Psychedelic Adventure - can't find a download link, it should be in the archive, but then again it might not be a good level by your standards.Don't like it myself either any more.

I took a 2 year break from this game, but I'm back now to make another level.I'm also thinking of updating the LG-28 level too. Some COs suck in that one.

Awesomeness!!! :D

Oh, and yeah - @ OP: Medic-Ted's levels are indeed worthy of recommendation. LG-28 is my favourite among them, and one of my favourites in general.

And I'd love to recommend more levels... but can't afford the time to compare your list of levels played with my favourites folder. :-(

But, hey, you could always try my levels. *points to signature* ;-) (Remembering the City is a pretty nice environmental, I think. Jumping in the Rain is unspectacular, though. Falling Water will be awesome - when it's finished. ;-))
