[Small Maze Hard] The Sky Garden

Recently, I was working on a new way to develop levels. Check out some technical details here.

After a little tinkering, I produced this small level. I think it has a few cool additions to the Knytt gaming style.

Nice to see the finished version! The music is perfect for it and I've finally managed to reach the ending. Did you change a few arrows so it was harder to get trapped or did I just get lucky?  :P

It's only a tiny thing I spotted but, in the world.ini, the level's still called Rotate Map and doesn't have any of the categories filled. Just small and maze would be enough to make it easier to find. Anyway, congratulations on the level, it's really impressive and unusual.

Good call. Don't know how that happened. The link has been updated for the proper world.ini file.

Not an exploit, just a bad description field. I've fixed the issue and updated the link. Ortoslon, thanks for catching that.

This was interesting and fun. It felt fresh, like you've made Knytt Stories into something new. I'm looking forward to your next invention.

I've had a few requests/questions regarding the music in this level. I originally found Kyle MacLeod's music on

 http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/

They have tons of cool royalty free music from different genres. It's also where I got the music for Enemy Mine. Check it out here:

I enjoy your puzzle games. Like it's already been said, they are refreshing! Sky Garden drove me mad, because every time I had all the keys, I'd land into a trap... I think it happened 4 times in a row  But I loved the level.

This was exciting!

There were some minor problems, like how you had to kill yourself at one point, but I really enjoyed this. It feels like a fresh approach to KS, I can't wait to see what you could do with this :D

Very nice and refreshing! I'm aware of one other level with changeable gravity, "Gorfinhofin - Flipping Out".

I'd second that dyeing in a level without save points doesn't feel right.
