[Super Small, Hard/Lunatic, Challenge] Uno
« on: June 25, 2010, 23:30:35 »
Uno is a super small level, actually 1 screen, that I made.
My friend gave me the idea, and I executed it.
Try to make it through both tricky difficulties, for 2 different endings.

You left out the warp code on the Hard version. Voids everywhere.

If there's one thing that annoyed me about this level, it was that you couldn't tell which walls were climbable and which ones weren't.

I would say it is 'hard' and 'lunatic'. I would agree with PP, that it would be nice to be able to see which walls were climbable. Ok, you work it out, but it's a few more deaths you would have been happier without. Some gentle, relaxing music would go well, too :p And the ending light is a bit hard to see. But otherwise good, pretty and clever.

I agree with PP, "surprise, no climbing" walls are annoying. Otherwise, nice level! We had a competition a while back to make one-screen levels, only those were puzzle levels. See http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=1992.msg41350#msg41350 (number 3, Round whatever)

It's er.. how shall I say.. still not very obvious. If you just made those two walls a different colour or something, or put up a sign explaining it. Some people run waterfalls by the walls they want to be no-climb and then tell the user that those walls are too "wet" to be climbed.
