Why isnt niffchat working? :(

It keeps saying

Unable to connect  :   Java.net.ConnectException  :  Connection Refused

Try this instead.

I recommend to use not-browser IRC client, like mIRC.

Hm, tried it myself, was able to connect nicely. Sure you don't have anything which'd try to block the connection?

It works for me too, but during the initialisation, it asks me to disable something. I do not disable it, and if I disable it, it stops working. Do you get 2 warnings too? I press yes on the first, no on the second.

is esper down? cause I've tried on several non-browser clients and the java chat and it never connects. anyone else having trouble?
