Haakon Key?

Hey,

I'm trying to get the machine piece in the Satelite "Haakon" but it seems that I need some sort of key...well that's what the object that triggers the laser tells me. It has a picture of a key and some little dots. Here's a picture:



I've looked everywhere and I couldn't find a key or anything, I don't even know what those lights mean! Hints and tips will be helpfull

The PDA's "device solver" is often overlooked. It's designed to help you with these sort of things.

LOL that actually answers my second question which was: "What do the crystal rocks do?".

Then the whole board is obsolete. This is for people who don't want to spoil any other puzzles.

There aren't many puzzles on that planet anyway.
