This game doesn't make sense at all...
Long story short:
the world is full of "glum" or "unhappiness" and you must get rid of it

Just out of curiosity, has anyone gotten all the grins?

You can actually get more grins than the displayed "maximum". (Unfortunately as far as I know there's no bonus for getting the "maximum".)
(Protip: you can get combos by making a triangle dealy around multiple enemies at once.)

I can't figure out how to pass the first screen. I've collected those glowing things and shot that flower a ton of times, but my character (A guy floating around in the air) just bumps into the edges of the screen. I hope this isn't one of those games where the puzzle is about being confused on how to play, I hate that.

...have you tried right clicking ever? The game shows you all the controls at the beginning. You might be confused by new game mechanics as they enter, but the basic controls never change.

Once you see that swirly hovering thingy, move over it and press S or the Down arrow.

Ive tried right clicking. 3 Blue things make a triangle and dissapear. It doesn't seem to affect the flower. And Ive never seen a swirling vortex thing. The answer is probably pretty obvious and I'm just missing something that everyone else figured out, but I'm still confused about.

Just beaten it with a score of 11,999, the game is fun and very bizarre, and i like the style how you need to know how things work and constanly change. The graphics where aswome too.
