At first I was just practicing, but it eventually evolved into an actual level.
I started it 4 months ago but got sidetracked by maps and playing other levels. Then I started finishing Ego's templates.
It's not actually my first level, but my second one (the first one is unfinished too, and I decided to swap them because… reasons).
It's mainly a showcase of some of Nifflas' default tilesets.
I think it can be described as a mix of An Attempt at Art, Vanilla, and Juni Gets a Food, but it's structured like a treasure-hunt of sorts.
The story is a bit non-existent but self-explanatory:
A sequence of radically different worlds (merely glued together by coincidentally aligned collision) is bridging the gap between the two halves of Juni's apartment. In order to reach the right side, she has to witness all possible variants of those places.
I'd say it's about 70% done, but it's hard to tell.
Main features:
- Almost everything is default (there are some COs).
- Some voice acting (mainly Juni).
- Lots of secrets.
- 10 golden creatures (two of them are challenging. The others are wannabe flags…).
- 7 artifacts.
- N coins (spoiler).
- Some silly missable stuff and a nigh-impossible-to-find dark one.
- A Progress Checker (missable secrets not needed for 100% completion).
- Hint room for the less nosy specimens.
- Anti-cheat warp shenanigans (still not wallswim-proof).
Secrets for cheaters.
Time to find that one secret in The Explore Challenge, kids.
