Music similar to music in Nifflas' games
« on: June 09, 2018, 01:29:32 »
For a while now, I've been thinking that this song sounds like it could be in Knytt Stories. Hiroshi Yoshimura's whole catalog has a zen KS feeling to it.

This song by Aphex Twin has a bit of an Uurnog and KU sound.

I'd love to listen to more music that sounds like music Nifflas makes. To me it sounds so similar to a lot of ambient techno-type music, but he has a distinct style that's difficult to compare to anything else.
Rome wasn't built in a day.

I feel that one of Fubaka's own tracks would fit extremely well in a more ambient level. As well as maybe this track that I found a while back.

Here's a cool acoustic cover of Alberto Balsam, since it was in the opening post.

Here's an even COOLER cover of Alberto Balsam, performed mostly on steel drums.

...okay we should stop before this thread turns into an Aphex Twin cover thread. :P

Things to remember when writing figures of speech and sound:
The power of poetry comes from the ability to defy logic. Defy logic often.

Use a metaphor and tell us that your lover is the sky. Tell us that your lover is the sky. When you do that, we won't believe you. We won't believe you because saying so makes no sense, but we'll see a meaning. We'll see a meaning.

The other thing is the ability to be remembered. Love anything.

Love anything

Some of the music by Snail's House gives me a Nifflas vibe. Check out [covered in white], Thinkin' of u, and It's gonna be alright for example.
