"Save copy to outbox" should be checked by default

If there's something that makes me look stupid in a message I sent, and I didn't notice before I sent it, I definitely won't notice it after it's been sent- unless I checked that box.

It'd be very convenient for me as well. I use this option all the time, since it's hard to keep track of what you've said and what you might have missed in your PMs otherwise.

I also concur. I more often than not want it ticked and often forget to do so.

Still, maybe it'd be interesting for new users to have this option already checked on by default when they create their account.

Its not part of this forumsoftware to change, so there's nothing I can do to change it. I think the design philosophy behind this is that it would otherwise consume unnecessary database space. Private messages are being done quite differently in version 2 of the software, where each message is like a conversation... but we're still using 1 because there are too many modifications in the theme to port it to version 2.
